When KLiM set out to build a new helmet, it had three fundamental goals in mind: ventilation, application, and weight. With the KLiM F4 being already the most ventilated helmet ever built, the target looked tricky. KLiM engineers have realized that any helmet can have good ventilation at high speeds, but they can not all work at low speeds. To achieve this, they put enormous ventilation openings on the top of the helmet that allow heat to escape from the top of the helmet.

F4 also had a strange fit, special for some and perfect for others. KLiM acknowledged this and set itself the goal of improving the application of F5 to a wider range of riders. F5 has an ECE certified carbon fiber shell for the European market. Weight (or lack thereof) is unprecedented. The less the weight in your head, the less tired you will be after a busy day of driving. Also, the less weight you have in the head during a collision, the less the chances of serious neck injury. Finally for those who are worried about excessive ventilation, KLiM offers a gore-tex insertion wind stopper very easy to install for cold walks on the trails.

The sale price of F5 is expected to be € 499.00 and will come with a very nice helmet bag, extra accessories, breath box, and wind stopper lining. The F5 will be available around the autumn-winter of 2017.
