After last year's feud in Albania, another big 7-day challenge in Greek mountains this time has come to an end for Panagiotis Georgogiannis and Dimitris Charissis. The Greek riders, members of the Will2Way team, participated in KMM machines in the second and most demanding race of the Pan-European Rally Championship held in Karpenissi from 19 to 26 May 2019.
The race garnered 270 entries from all over Europe with motorcycles, quads, and ssv, of which only three were Greek. After seven days of driving and over 1,700 km, the two Gianniotes finished at 58th and 59th place in the overall classification. It is worth mentioning that Georgogiannis ranked 8th in the category (M2) and Charisis the 15th (M3). Stelios Karamanos, the third Greek who participated in the race, finished 70th in the overall classification.
Throughout the race, the two guys from Ioannena led intelligently avoiding mistakes, they had a very good pace, while their infallible navigation in the mountains is worth mentioning. The focal point of the race was the 4th day, during which the two drivers traveled 445 km with a stop time at 22.30 after 13 and a half hours of continuous driving, showing great mental and physical vigor, determination and commitment to the target. Participation by itself in such a match is worthy of congratulations, let alone when it is accompanied by a successful finish at the top 60.
Actors in this effort were: Monster-shop Papatheodorou, DNA Air Filters, PROKOS Group - Vodafone, Most Wanted Warehouse, Enduro Greece, as well as the ERT show "Auto Moto EDT" and the websites bikeit.gr and 2wo.gr, for extensive reports and tributes before and during the race.

At the end of the race, the two drivers said: "Unfortunately, there is a lot of trouble in our everyday life that often leads us to a point of frustration and resignation from any effort. More important, however, is our own desire to create experiences and images, to live in new situations, to make ourselves whatever we live in. We almost always find a way to get closer to our goal. Do not stop dreaming - and always with a helmet!
